Its aim is to shed light on and give visibility to the complex logistics system that keeps Venice alive, revealing the stories, skills, and dedication of those who sustain the most fragile and extraordinary city in the world every single day.

Behind all that beauty lies a precise and industrious mechanism — made of boats, skilled hands, and ingenuity. This is the Venice of hidden logistics, where canals become highways and everything moves across the water: food and building materials, waste and restaurant supplies, works of art and concert stages.

It’s a world that often goes unnoticed, yet it is the true heartbeat of the city. A unique system where every maneuver is an act of balance — between tradition, precision, and respect for the lagoon.

Our mission is to document, celebrate, and protect this human and technical heritage, helping to build new awareness of the city — for both its visitors and its inhabitants.

To achieve this, we have chosen to give a voice to the boats themselves. Thanks to simple yet innovative technology, each transport vessel involved in the project carries a QR code on its side — a small but powerful gesture that allows anyone who encounters it to discover stories and images directly from those who bring Venice to life every day.

Thus, the waterways become a moving, moving, open-air museum — where tradition and innovation meet.
